Put simply, these drones can be thought of as remote-controlled toy helicopters.
Only much stronger, more stable and more precise. In order to distinguish themselves from military drones, pilots of these “drones” usually speak of multicopters. The term UAV is international and stands for “unmanned aerial vehicle”, alternatively UAS for “unmanned aerial system”. For the sake of simplicity, we at High-Angle.de simply call our tools DRONES. Uses Of Drones
Depending on the design and payload, civil drones can be used with various cameras and measuring devices for a wide range of aerial photographs. For example for:
- Aerial photos with cameras
- Aerial videos with video cameras
- Technical control (inspection flights) with photo and/or video cameras
- Surveying flights in 2D and 3D (digital elevation models).
- Calculation of areas and angles (e.g. roof measurement)
- Thermographic images e.g. solar systems
- Gas measurement in case of fire or chemical spills
- Multispectral imaging for agriculture

The application areas are diverse, either as a hobby object for pure flying or filming/photographing or for a professional reason. On the other hand, used as military drones/combat drones.
