Google+, a social network, created Google photos and video sharing and storage services in 2015.

What’s the difference between High, Original, and Express quality in Google Photos?

  • It offers three storage settings with somewhat confusing labels.

  • You can save photos from your smartphone up to 16 MP or video clips up to 1080p to your Google Photos cloud account.
  • The “High quality” setting allows you to download an unlimited number of photos and videos for free if they reach these limits.
  • Google recently updated its terms of service for videos stored in High Quality in Google Photos.
  • The subsequent formats of video are supported: mpg,.wmv, .asf, .avi, .divx, .mov, .mod, .mmv, .tod,.m4v, .3g2, .3gp,.mp4, .m2t, .m2ts, .mts and .mkv.
  • If you upload videos in other high-quality formats, including the popular RAW form, they’ll count toward your Google One storage limits.

Edit images

  • Google Photos to edit your photos in apps or on the website.
  • There is an automatic selection that Google Photos can use to create the best version of this photo.

Get started with Google Photos

  • If you delete a photo or video saved in Google Photos, it will remain in your recycling bin for 60 days.
  • When you delete it from your Android device without backing it up, it will remain in your Trash for 60 days.
  • If you see a video or photo in Google Photos that you think you’ve deleted, it might be on a removable memory card.
  • Use the gallery app on your device to delete.
  • However, unsaved items (stored only locally on the device) are deleted after 30 days.

Google photos for free

  • Get unlimited, original-quality, free storage for all photos and videos uploaded from Pixel 2 to Google Photos by January 16, 2021.
  • Photos and videos uploaded on or before this date will remain free in quality. ‘Origin.
  • After January 16, 2021, we will upload new pictures and videos in high quality for free.

Will Google Photos Remain Ever

    • Google will keep your pictures as long as your account is still active.
    • In a way, you can keep it indefinitely as long as someone regularly logs into the store (Gmail, YouTube, Drive, Photos, etc.).
    • Google saves your photos as long as your account is still active.
